Today we see fires, a pandemic, restless people, an election coming, weird weather patterns, and so much more that we need to consider, “what’s going on”? Well, I’m not sure. In Matthew chapters 24 and 25, Jesus talked about many signs—things to warn us. God is telling us something.

Let’s look at this one verse:

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least
of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’”
Matthew 25:40 (NLT)

In the midst of all the trouble, Jesus wants all of us to feed people, to show hospitality, and to give ourselves away to others…not to worry or fret. He wants us to continue to love God’s people and remember that we are doing it as if it was Jesus Himself.

Let’s show heaven that we will continue to “show up” as a small church that is making a big impact in our neighborhoods and communities. We will do our part.
