Letting Go…

Sometimes I don’t feel like rejoicing.
Sometimes it looks like someone else is on the throne.
Sometimes I don’t like what I see.

I think these feelings are true of all of us when we don’t like what is going on around us, and we feel sad and frustrated. It isn’t easy to process. We say to ourselves, “I’m tired of it all!” That’s the time when I need to take a breather and remember what the Bible says:

God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. Psalm 47:8

God knows, God sees, and God is in control.

We need to practice letting go of things we can’t control: people, situations, problems, the weather, the news, etc. One thing is sure – I can control me. That is our assignment before anything else. Control you and allow God to be God. Trust Him in the process, even when it looks bad. He is the King, and this King is your daddy. Trust Him.

Please continue to pray for our reopening process. We plan on opening on Sunday, November 1On Monday, October 26, we will have all the information up on our website and instructions on everything you need to do. Thank you for your patience as we go through this together.

I’m excited that we, as a church, have come together through a difficult season.
