Second Chance Prison Ministry
Dedicated to reaching the forgotten people in society’s prison and jail systems. This ministry was founded in 2000 by Pastor Danny and Toni Castaneda who minister along with his brother and sister-in-law Frank and Adela Castaneda.
Matthew 25:35-36 tells us that if we visit those in prison we visit Jesus: “For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, (36) I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.”
We, as a church and body of Christ, want to follow the command of Jesus Christ our Lord that His people to go into prisons in order to share the Good New, that through Jesus Christ, there is hope for their lives. By supporting this ministry, we “go with” Pastor Danny and his team to the prisons that so greatly need to hear the Gospel of hope and redemption and to respond to the call to follow Jesus.

Please pray:
- For continued open doors to the prisons for Pastor Danny and his team to go into the prisons that have been closed recently or have limited access.
- For great effectiveness that the Truth and the Good News of the Gospel will reach into the prisoners’ hearts. And, for their hearts to have good soil to grow and bear fruit.

Prison Ministry Needs have been Supplied
We did it! We’ve collected over and above. Thank you to all who contributed! We collected 100 bars of soap, rolls of toilet paper, toothpaste and men’s deodorant to supply those living in our local LA jails and Mexico’s prison systems.
Second Chance Prison Ministry Updates
