At New Season, our heart has always been to serve beyond our walls. We serve God, you, families in need, and the homeless. We get out and clean our neighborhoods, CityKidz, and God is always putting on our hearts to do more. Loving our neighbors and serving the community we live in is one of the greatest treasures God offers us.
Love Is A Great Treasure
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NLT)
Projects and Outreaches
CityKidz
The CityKidz program goes into different neighborhoods and shares the love of Jesus with the children and their families. They gather at their local neighborhood park or school to hear Bible stories, music, and learn ways to be Christ-like. They also assist families that are struggling by providing food, clothing, and monetary provision when needed.

One-Stop
Tuesdays from 10 AM – 12 PM
One Stop is a service provided by the Ventura County Health Care Agency. People who are struggling with homelessness qualify for needed assistance like medical assessments, food, clothing, help to find a job, or just taking a shower. Join New Season’s team to help! There’s a lot to do!

Adopt A Block
Second Saturday of the Month
April 8 | 9-11am
Many churches and organizations have adopted a block on the west end of Ventura (the Avenue). We pick up trash, remove graffiti, clean the streets and gather to promote unity. It’s a great time to help and be hospitable!
Afterward, we meet for lunch at Two Trees Church, 17 N. Ventura Ave, Ventura, CA 93001.
Neighborhood Cleanup

Join us as we get to know our neighbors and help them with cleanup projects. If you would like to join us, please contact the church office for more information.
Homeless Outreach
Come out and pray and reach out to homeless individuals. We meet at One Stop on Tuesdays from 9am – 1pm, 375 Hillmont Ave, Ventura. We also go out to River Haven and serve lunch (times vary) If you would like to help contact us for more information.
Local and International Missions
New Season supports local missions projects that include New Harvest Christian school, Christ the Rock of Salvation Fellowship, Ventura YWAM, Second Chance Prison Ministry and Tender Life Maternity Home.
Our international ministries include Simon and Marta in Spain, David and Lydia Martinez of Orphanage Emmanual in Honduras and Bishop Andrew Omo Iyare of Nigeria.
