Share your food with the hungry and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. Isaiah 58:7 (NLT)
If we are not a church for the weak, if we are not a church for the less fortunate, we have no reason to be. Jesus came directly to those that society considered weak and poor in spirit. Those who had no hope. Church, Jesus is still the only hope. He came to the sick and He preached to the broken-hearted.
Jesus shared and gave everything up for us all. Now, He asks us to go, to be His feet, to be His arms, to be His voice. People need hope, and we, the church, need to bring them this powerful hope.
As we open our doors again, we will unite in this new era to be a church for the hopeless and the broken. No matter where people come from, no matter what background they carry, let us all continue to be like Jesus.
Share. Give. Don’t hide from helping someone out. If you have the ability to do it, do it cheerfully…
We love you and we are excited to see you at church this Sunday.
