Praise God! He is the only one who has taken our sins away through His Son Jesus Christ.

“For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.” Romans 8:7 (NLT)

Hostile: enmity; hatred toward God; a dislike to His ways and commandments.

Sin will never obey God; we must understand this. As we see things unfolding around us that shake us, know that sin is alive and well. Let’s remember that Jesus has made it possible for every human to be set free from this sin.

When we love Jesus and love people, we can overcome anything. It starts with you!

What happened to George Floyd is a horrific example of what a human can do to another in a senseless meaningless loss of a life that did not deserve to die.

I know that evil, in my past, before I knew Christ, I could hurt another human and not think twice about it, whether it was a person of my color or someone that bared another. I am ashamed and embarrassed that I was evil and ungodly.

I’m thankful that I allowed God into my life. I know now that Jesus is the only answer. Hostility cannot exist if we are a Christ-follower. I know now that loving you, and respecting you, no matter what is the answer. I have experienced overwhelming forgiveness of my past. My heart goes out to our nation as it struggles with sin. 

Please continue to be a witness of love as God guides you through His Word and Holy Spirit.
