Are You Letting the Fungus Invade?

“If the fungus breaks out again in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house has been scraped and plastered, the priest is to come and conduct an examination; if the fungus has spread, it is a malignant fungus. The house is unclean. The house has to be demolished—its stones, wood, and plaster are to be removed to the garbage dump outside the city. Anyone who enters the house while it is closed up is unclean until evening. Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash his clothes.”
Leviticus‬ 14:43-47‬ (MSG)‬‬

This section of the Bible talks about what the priests had to do when there was mildew and fungus in someone’s house. They would declare it unclean. They had to proceed with steps that affected an individual, a whole family, and the whole community. Unclean was considered a bad thing. Everyone knew that your house was “that” house … the “bad” house.

Again, we see the importance of why Jesus Christ had to come to save us from shame and guilt. The fact is, some of our houses have become unclean, and sin is still trying to influence us. It creeps in and we do nothing to remove it. Jesus, help us!!

There is a way, and that way is through the blood of Jesus. The power of the Holy Spirit frees us and gives us the ability to walk from sin to saint only because of what our Father gave to us as the ultimate atonement for every unclean thing we do. We still need to come to Him and seek Him and we will find this acceptance and forgiveness that wipes away all our sins and transgressions. This is the understanding we must continue to remember in all things. The truth is that God sent His Son to rescue a broken system and redeem our human error. We are all guilty of being unclean with sin

Let today be the day the priest examines your home and removes every unclean thing. Throw it away—remove it. Jesus has given all of us this responsibility to clean our home and set it apart to be Holy, clean, and pure. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for loving us so much and making us clean. We commit to trust You and believe in You. As we walk through our home and examine it, You will guide us to those things that don’t belong. In Jesus’ Name….

Praise the Lord, church! Thank God we are not alone. Together we can support and pray for each other. We are still hanging out at the park. Please continue to pray for a building. We have not stopped doing ministry, outreach and having services. We believe the right building will come our way. Pray with me, and don’t lose heart. In due time, God will accomplish what He said.

We love you very much and appreciate all the prayers that come our way.
