Carrying Dirt From God’s Holy Mountain

Then Naaman said, “All right, but please allow me to load two of my mules with earth from this place, and I will take it back home with me. From now on I will never again offer burnt offerings or sacrifices to any other god except the Lord.” 2 Kings‬ 5:17‬ (NLT)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Naaman decided to follow God, and he was going to show it by taking dirt from Israel. What does dirt have to do with anything? Well, it’s symbolic. No matter where Naaman would go, he put some dirt on the ground and would bend his knee to the God of Israel. Also, he would never again bow to any other god except the Lord.

Imagine the blessings that have come to us because we decided to follow Jesus. Think how much God wants to continue to bless us. God is so good!

We know that He alone is enough; that He alone is our security; that He is the only One who will truly satisfy us. That is what Naaman discovered, and he was glad. His life would never be the same.

God has so much more for us as we enter this new season filled with many tests and temptations. He promises to be with us and not abandon us as orphans. God is enough!!!!

We have submitted the paperwork to become Foursquare.

Now we wait and we pray. Please continue to pray and fast. People are praying for change and for something new. May we be that “new change” that is needed, no matter where we go.

As we carry some dirt with us from God’s Holy Mountain, one absolute thing is that we will establish and claim the land for Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, we worship You and lift You up. Continue to anoint and direct us.
