We Are Following Jesus

The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men, I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.” Judges‬ 7:7‬ (NLT)‬‬

The Lord told Rafael, “With these 300 men, women, teenagers, and children, I will rescue you and give you victory over Oxnard. Send all the others home.”

Praise the Lord for so many reasons. Today in my prayer and meditation time, this is the scripture that came forward. As you know, we are on an adventure. When the Lord starts a change or a call for us to change, some will not be ready. Gideon was told to go into battle, but God gave people a choice: some to go home and some to battle. We, too, are in a place of decision. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Know this, my family and I have decided to follow Jesus on this path. It is scary, uncertain and sometimes nerve-racking.

I rejoice that Gideon obeyed the Lord and God gave Him the victory. He, too, had to believe and trust in the Lord. Gideon’s assignment was so different than what he was used to, and he was afraid. He learned to trust the Lord. As we keep following Jesus, we too will learn to trust Him.

Be encouraged that someone always has to take the lead. I’m happy that God chose us to do exactly that. He sees something in all of you that made Him put things together as they are unfolding before us.

We voted and received more than enough votes to proceed in our great “God Adventure.” Thank you for being here, thank you for praying, thank you for taking time to participate.

Now it’s our turn to obey the Lord and have our victory. If we don’t try, if we don’t risk, then we will never know what our Lord can do. No matter where you live, may the Lord continue to bless you, and may you know exactly where you need to be. If it’s with us, praise the Lord. Let’s go!!!!! It’s about to get crazy good. God is going to pour out His Spirit on us, so keep dancing and singing to the Lord.

If you’re still wondering, please, let’s have a conversation. I’m willing to talk to anyone over the phone and answer any questions. I’m not trying to change hearts; I’m trying to plant faith in us. That’s how we will overcome our own troubles … by faith.

The next step in our transition to Oxnard is turning in the paperwork and waiting for the Foursquare representives to review our information.

Thank you, Lord, for Your favor and wisdom. We seek You only. We come against negativity and any evil trying to stop a great awakening from happening in Ventura and Oxnard… In Jesus’ Name.
