Praising and Trusting God

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:7 (NIV)

Praise God! He delivers on His promises.

Part of Numbers 23:19 reads, “Does he promise and not fulfill?”

Thank you, Lord:

We pray and You listen. We hurt and You comfort us. We fall and You pick us up. We ask and You give.

We praise You, Jesus. You deserve the honor and the glory! You have taught us these things.

In God’s Economy . . .

  • the Master washes his follower’s feet
  • we love our enemies and pray for them
  • offer the other cheek when we are struck
  • think of others before ourselves

And, the Lord promises that believers will be blessed when they bless others. We have to have faith and trust in Jesus because what the world teaches is something very different that is not sustainable.

We praise Jesus by time spent helping others, praying, financial giving, fellowship, and increasing our knowledge and understanding through His Word.

This is a great week to celebrate our moms. Wow! We would not be here without them. God bless the moms!

Let us honor them by showing our devotion to the One who first created life.

Happy Mother’s Day!
