We Will Not Be Shaken

This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now, you will go up to the temple of the LORD.” 2 Kings 20:5 (NIV)

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. Hebrews 11:1,2 (NIV)

These are two powerful and challenging scriptures for believers. How strong is our faith? Do we believe in divine healing?

Hebrews 11 is full of examples of real people who by faith, trusted God for the outcome of circumstances they were in. One situation we are all familiar with was Abraham’s obedience to God when the Lord told him to take his son, Isaac, to the mountain and sacrifice him. Abraham acted by faith.

By faith, the people passed through the Red Sea, … Hebrews 11:30 (NIV)

By faith, the walls of Jericho fell after the army had marched around them seven times. Hebrews 11:31 (NIV)

Enoch, Joseph, Noah, and Rahab are all examples of individuals with tremendous faith and confidence in the Lord. Who else can you name?

Let us be part of a divine healing and miracle.
Stop reading this email, rest your hands, close your eyes, and pray for healing for someone you know who needs Jesus. It might be for emotional, physical, psychological, or spiritual reasons. Be still. Let God’s presence rise in you through the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord for His help in bringing an end to the suffering. Jesus will hear your prayer. He will heal!

Prayer:

Lord, we are here with our hearts and minds open right now to receive Your presence and Your direction for our lives. Lead us to those who have the greatest needs. We want to be humble servants who share the love You have freely given to us to those around us. We will not be shaken by doubt. You are our God, Jesus. We love you! Amen

God is fighting for us.
God is on our side
He has overcome.
Yes, He has overcome
We will not be shaken.
We will not be moved.Jesus, You are here
